Challenge

The project encompassed refurbishing an operational Aged Care facility across three buildings. Two of these structures were connected externally to facilitate installing an elevator within the existing stairwell, improving accessibility and functionality. A critical challenge involved ensuring resident safety and maintaining client revenue with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Solution

Despite complexities in renovating an operational Aged Care facility, careful planning minimises disruptions. Balancing client needs with resident comfort and safety underscores the project’s commitment. Stringent measures ensured compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, prioritising resident safety amid ongoing construction.

By coordinating meticulously and adhering to regulations, the project enhanced the facility’s infrastructure and ability to uphold its reputation for exceptional aged care. Additionally, the project was completed on time and on budget.

Solutions 3 showed remarkable dedication to ensuring our facility could continue business as usual while undergoing significant renovations, for instance creating temporary areas that were fully operational before transitioning to refurbish the original areas. Their dedication to excellence and ability to deliver results in challenging circumstances truly sets them apart.
