Andy Currie
Business Development Director

Andy’s vast experience in the construction industry spans more than 35 years. Throughout this time, Andy has built, and continues to maintain, numerous long-term relationships with designers, architects, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. These strong relationships are testament to his integrity, affable personality, and results-oriented approach to all projects.

With a creative eye and a pragmatism steeped in engineering, Andy can envisage end results, and plan and manage the work that transforms the idea into reality.

Andy Hobday
National Technical Manager

Andy brings over 25+ years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management in Aged Care and Retirement Living projects across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. His expertise extends to commercial and residential construction as well as heritage renovations.

As a registered builder, Andy prioritises maintaining the highest quality in construction, utilising his impeccable attention to detail to meet clients’ needs and deliver projects that we are all proud of.

Adrien Appasamy

As a vital member of our estimating and construction administration team, Adrien is the primary point of contact for construction tenders, responsible for assessing costs and budgets across a variety of projects large or small. Adrien’s meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and diligent work ethic ensure that both our team and clients are kept well-informed about project scopes and finances, playing a crucial role in keeping our projects on course.

Adaptable to the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of construction, Adrien’s background as a refrigeration mechanic, coupled with his degree in Project and Business Management, provides him with a unique understanding of the building process, cost management, and project administration.

Jay Ferrier
Construction Supervisor

Jay serves as our commercial projects manager, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously with seamless efficiency.

With over two decades of industry experience, Jay has garnered extensive knowledge working for and alongside some of Victoria’s largest builders and property developers. His journey from a trade background to site supervision and director of operations has led him to cultivate a deep understanding of process and planning across all facets of a building site. Jay’s robust comprehension of OH&S policies and procedures ensures safety is prioritised at every juncture.

Jay thrives on the responsibility of being the forefront representative on-site and the face of our company. In addition to his technical expertise, Jay possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at mediating and fostering relationships with both clients and subcontractors. This ability ensures a smooth project experience for all stakeholders involved.

Peter Knight
Construction Supervisor

As on-site supervisor, Peter is active in every aspect of the building works. Known for his hands-on approach and attention to detail, he ensures the team collaborates effectively to complete projects meticulously, meeting deadlines, specifications, and codes.

Peter’s personal drive is infectious, leading a charged up and motivated work crew. He has over 13 years’ experience in building & renovation projects, having worked across a range of construction including classic, contemporary & heritage designs.

As the lead on-site carpenter, Peter’s primary focus is to quality-assure the entire process as he supervises & coordinates trade and managing sub-contractors, sources, quantifies & coordinates quality materials, while working closely with clients, architects & designers.

Site Supervisor

Adam’s roots trace back to the countryside near Bairnsdale in East Gippsland. Following his high school graduation, he embarked on a carpentry career, accumulating over 15 years of expertise in the field.

Adam’s professional journey has flourished at Solution 3, where he has dedicated himself for nine years. From assuming leadership as a leading hand for three years to advancing into supervisory roles for five years, Adam plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s progress and achievements.

Since joining Solutions 3 in 2021, Kaela has become an indispensable member of our Construction Administration team, contributing significantly to the smooth execution of our projects.

With a background spanning over 15 years in the Transport and Logistics sector, Kaela brings a unique perspective to construction and design. Her transition to this field was driven by a deep satisfaction in witnessing projects evolve from plans on paper to fully realized and transformed spaces.

Kaela’s meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and clear communication skills ensure that regardless of project size, both our team and clients are kept fully informed about project scope and finances.
